Speaker 1: All right, here's another one.
Speaker 1: Iwood Goodwin, who no longer works in this department, was part of the media representative for King County prosecutors.
Speaker 1: Well, the Courier-Herald and we'll talk about how they were biased here in a moment Iwood Goodwin, a media representative for King County prosecutors, the Courier-Herald calls up and says hey, what's the defense next move?
Speaker 1: Now think about that question.
Speaker 1: He's calling King County prosecutor's office, getting ahold of the representative and asking what is the defense going to do next?
Speaker 1: And do you know what his response was?
Speaker 1: Jacob, no, and let me give you a call.
Speaker 1: So he didn't even talk to him on the phone, or I mean he didn't email.
Speaker 1: So there's a record of all this.
Speaker 1: They picked up phone, had a phone conversation about what the defense was going to do to the press, who was already demonstrated that they were negative and, by the way, that'll be important.
Speaker 1: They didn't seem to object to the courier herald doing their publicity and their news.
Speaker 1: But anyway, so I and goodwin, and so when I request the information and I go okay, I want a record.
Speaker 1: What was said, what was done, what are the notes?
Speaker 1: Oh, we don't have any of that, so they're allowed.
Speaker 1: King county prosecutors are literally picking up the phone talking to people in the press or whoever it might be, if they can get help, if it will help them get a conviction, and that's not just witness tampering, that's engaging, as far as I'm concerned, in the crime itself.
Speaker 1: That was going on, in fact, after the trial, when called Mr Gu I think that's how his name is G-O-O-D-H-E-W and I asked him.
Speaker 1: I said I need, I want an investigation into the hate crime and he said there'll be no investigation in the hate crime.
Speaker 1: And I'm very familiar with Athena Dean Holtz, very familiar, you get the idea.
Speaker 1: This is not witness tampering, because they knew she was actively engaged in hate crime activity in intimidation to us, and the King County prosecutors protected her so that she could continue and inflame the hatred against her.
